Reviews Step by Step; Guide to Unification Wars
At first I played the game, it is quiet hard to understand what does these game want me to do but luckily they have a step by step guide for newbie like me. Not all games have a guide or manual for their game, so I will pass on a walkthrough of this guide for those who are interested because this game needs your brain to start working!
First of all you have to log in to http://www.gamestotal.com or http://uc.gamestotal.com and register as a player. The main point of this game is to have a diplomatic relationship for example war, alliances and other form of communications. To wage a war you have to gather, collect, or even captures resources to build up military power and to protect or expanding your empire.
In this game time is required to perform every task and terms of units (turns) is used to replace time. You can choose different type of alien races such as Terran, A. Miner, Marauder and many more. Every race has their own styles, method of playing and specialty. A strong and large empire will be judge with how many planets they have been explore or capture. To explore or capture these planets depends on the alien itself and on how you manage the planets through their commercial, population, industrial and other activities that they are involved or as known as task. You need to assign the planets duties, reward, mine, increase/decrease population for these planet.
A new system also can be build by exploring or capturing 4,500 planets, this where you can choose any system that is more beneficial through the system type list. Market is needed to buy products that your system does not produce or to sell products that your system has been producing. If there is no supply being sold, you can ask any players to sell them to you according to their interest of price.
There are some technology has not been discovered, it was pass from generation to generation and we have to make our own research. There are two types of research that is Infrastructure and Technology Research and they also known as the blueprint. Some turns has to be spend to do this research, in Infrastructure Research every empire will gain 10% efficiency from the research and through Technology Research the empire get a new technology to build their ships.
After completing the research, you can start constructing your project here at the Project center. Remember, that you must fulfill the requirements before you can start constructing projects. Different projects will have different criteria and check out the projects list. All the ships that we have build can be place in a fleet, where each system can have only one fleet and each fleet can place only six types of ship but these ships can be demolish or organize by disbanding them.
The question is where can you build those ships? The ships are built in the shipyard where you can choose your own ships depends on their capability. The numbers of your ships in the list are according to your technology research, the research you do the greater ship you will have. To add new planets, you have to explore and build a new scout because only this ship can explore planets for you.
The best part of the game is attacking another empire, there are different types of attack can be made and the consequence is different for each attack. You can capture more planets, destroying, crippling other opponent or just spying on them. There is a lot of task that had to be made and I wish you all the best in the game. It is worth of playing or at least trying (it is free) to play them. For more guide to the game you can always go to http://uc2.gamestotal.com/manual/.
