Reviews A Rebirth of Former Greatness
I began my gaming days at an early age. In 1986, our family's most prized possession was our Mac Plus. We printed letters on our dot matrix printer, and made drawings on Mac Paint.
The real reason we owned that Macintosh, was for our favorite game, Strategic Conquest. Every Saturday afternoon, my uncle would bring over his Mac Plus, and we would connect them together using an appletalk network. Strategic Conquest, was a simple, exceedingly popular turn based strategy war game.
Once the real computer boom began in the 1990s, our favorite game faded into history. Strategic Domination is a multiplayer web based version of this gem of the past. It is well balanced, simple, yet exceeding complex and varied in its strategies.
This brings as much joy to me as an adult, as in 1988.
